MB60 vs MB15

Before get started with the transit vans, find out what the difference is between the models. This page is a brief pictorial on how to tell the difference in the Ford Transit castings. MB60 Has plastic headlights and grill, and "Transit" in the License plate area. 
MB15 Has metal grill and painted headlights. No License Plate

On the MB60, the center rib is broken up, while the MB15 rib is continuous.

Case of the disappearing "Transit"

The "Transit" License plate and name plate on the rear has a tendency to disappear later on in a casting's life.

In the MB60, the "Transit" disappeared during the "Cadbury Flake" model. In the MB15, it occured during the 2000 German Coke model.

Made In China Variation
There are two base molds for the Transit vans made in China. Most models will have both bases issued.
